  • To the BBS crew, amazing job, amazing achievement & I look forward to the new and improved you. Onwards & upwards

  • Thank you guys so much for the 200 episodes. I’ve done your 6MMGC, 2 of your Road to Regional cycles, and my wife is doing the Barbell Bikini. You guys put out great content and with your Barbell Business podcast, have gotten me to push the ball in getting my own gym started. I’ve listened to all 200 of your Barbell Shrugged episodes, read many of your book recommendations and to whatever is next I’m sure you guys will crush it.

  • Thanks for everything you’ve put out there thus far, and looking forward to what you guys will be sharing in the future. You guys are an inspiring group!

  • Thank you all for all your hard work for this podcast and your other ones. I’ve been using your shows as a way to stay connected to the CF community, the strength community and much more as I work my ass off starting my own gym and keeping my full time job. Thanks for coming along for the ride in my car each day with me ๐Ÿ™‚

  • That’s just wrong BRAH! What am I supposed to do for lunch today? Eat? I ate 3 times already.
Congrats to your success on everything, and thanks for all ya’ll do.

  • Sad that this chapter is over, but excited for whatever you guys have in mind for the next one. Thanks for everything – I’ve learned a ton from you and your guests.
Ps. I still get goosebumps from the “I Am an Athlete” video. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • No books, mentors, or friends have had as much impact on my growth as an hour a week listening to your podcast. It was, and is, the perfect combination of bro session, bsing with your friend, and learning from some if the coolest people on the planet.
For those of us bettering ourselves through the barbell there is no better.
    Thank you!

  • Thank you guys for putting out so much incredible high quality content for so long! I can’t wait to see what you all will do next. As a 20 year old coming into his own in the world of training and life, really, this podcast has been such a huge part of developing my mindset and lifestyle both in and out of the gym. Looking forward to hopefully seeing you guys sooner, rather than later!

  • OMG! The suspense is killing me. Feeling stressed out now. I can not make it through the week without your podcast!! Can’t wait to see what is next. Thanks guys!

  • Thanks for all the great work you all do. I found you all on your 100th been here since. So much dedication and knowledge for you all. Thanks again!
P.S. this isn’t it is it? We were just trolled and the actual episode is coming? My Wednesdays will be lacking knowledge now…

  • Halarious…still catching up on all 200 episodes, but thanks for what ya’ll do and looking forward to what continues or is next. Your podcast has helped bring a spotlight on the sports of powerlifting and weightlifting, and fitness/wellness as a whole.

  • I have been following you guys since the 2012 Crossfit Open when yall put out tips on how to attack each work out. I have seen yall grow and have transferred a lot of what yall of shown us to things in my everyday life. While it sadden me to see the episode today I am excited to see what changes are coming our way from yall. Yall have help change my life and I look forward to what is next.

  • Huge fan! I’ve listened to all 200 episodes! While I had an immediate “oh no!?” when I heard about the “blackout”…I’m sure there is much awesomeness in store. Thanks for all your important and hard work!

  • Thank you guys so much for the work and effort you have put into this show over the past 200 episodes. I have learned more than I could have ever hoped. The show really is life changing. I was stuck between the post-high school sports and actual life health and fitness rut until I found this. Congrats on everything. I feel that I’ll be missing you guys every Wednesday, and that you are true friends even though we’ve never met. I’m very excited to see what is to come. Thanks!

  • I can’t thank you guys enough for the valuable information, lessons, tips, and comedic relief. I’ve watched ya’ll for 2 years now and never miss the show on Wednesday. I was searching the website for info on the upcoming barbell university and couldn’t find any information. I have to attend or be involved with this new venture of yours. Can you email me regarding how I can get involved.
    Thanks always,
    David Harlan

  • I’m so confused, did I miss something? yall are taking a break? no more podcast? a little piece of me died today when I had no BBS to watch.

    • I’ll just say that we have a plan, and you’ll learn more soon. Part of the effect is letting the confusion ring a while ๐Ÿ™‚

  • For starters, I cannot thank you guys enough for all the valuable information you have shared with not only myself but for every listener out there. I worked at a golf course doing manual labor for 45+ hours a week all summer long and dedicated all this time to listening to each episode of Barbell Shrugged. You have truly enlightened my brother and I and made going to work each day exciting knowing that we were going to learn something new. All the best with your endeavors and I greatly look forward to seeing what you guys have in store. You all have been a huge inspiration for me to go out and strive to reach my goals every single day. Again thank you so much! Until next time, Cheers!
    Shocker brah

  • Been listening to you guys since I came across you talking with my boy Zach Even Esh about Henry Rollins. Love what y’all are doing, keep it up! Thank you! Peace love namaste cheers!

  • The show has helped me see all the different paradigms active in the training universe. You have created a very, VERY good big tent for the whole fitness community.
And. Speaking of the Buckminster Fuller quote, try this on:
From Chapter 6 of Machiavelli’s “The Prince”:
“…it ought to be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things. Because the innovator has for enemies all those who have done well under the old conditions, and lukewarm defenders in those who may do well under the new. This coolness arises partly from fear of the opponents, who have the laws on their side, and partly from the incredulity of men, who do not readily believe in new things until they have had a long experience of them. Thus it happens that whenever those who are hostile have the opportunity to attack they do it like partisans, whilst the others defend lukewarmly, in such wise that the prince is endangered along with them.”

  • Thanks guys for being a great influence on making my life better.
I’m pretty sure I got to meet all of you in person in the last year or so.
Getting to see the changes you guys have gone through with yourselves and your businesses has inspired me to do the same.
Can’t wait for what’s in store next!!
“‘When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it,’ the old king had said.”

  • Oh no… NO NO NO NO NO! Don’t mess with the routine man!!! Now what do I do for the next hour?! Guess I’ll just have to go and focus on one of the other dozens of new interests I have thanks to your show… ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • How am I going to get through today’s lunges without your podcast? I guess I’ll just hit the sofa with a box of Krispy Kremes.

  • I will echo everyone else with thank you for all you have done through the past 200 episodes. It has been amazing so far and I am excited to see the next chapter. I now have time to go back through those first few episodes I missed. I actually am excited to go back and see where you guys started and see how much progress you have made. You have been the spark for many changes in my life in the past few years. Thank you guys for following your passion regardless of the uncertainty involved.

    • Man, we’ve changed a lot. Amazing to consider, actually, what a few years worth of searching and learning can do…for anyone. Like I said, I’m very proud to have a record of it all.
      Cheers,

  • You guys put a lot of great content out there. Very informative and educational. Can’t wait for more. Also- just got the d3&t shirt in the mail. Most comfortable t-shirt ever. If you are ever come out to Maryland, please reach out. I would love for you guys to come to my high school weight training classes and meet my students (that would be a pretty cool podcast). Cheers to you guys for 200 great episodes and everything in between.

  • The work you have done here is great. Life is meant to lived with passion, and you have shown that even when your throwing around weights around you can do so passionately. You guys have educated me so much that my only hope is that one day our paths will cross, so maybe, if I bust ass hard enough, study enough, I can teach you guys something too, to return the gift of knowledge you so freely gave. That’s why we are on this great blue marble, to support each other to become the best version’s of ourselves. A great deal of my successes in health and fitness and even life will come because I “stood on the shoulders of giants” you guys of course. Thanks guys, and I look forward to what you have in the “pipeline”.

  • Thanks for all of the awesome podcasts.
I was hoping the blackout was a joke, but no.
I do look forward to seeing what you guys (and girls) have in store for us next.

  • All you guys inspired us to start our own podcast to help the good people of our community. Best wishes on your next projects. Excited to see it all

  • Broz, Congrats on 200 episodes! You have been such a huge influence in my training life. I’m a better coach and athlete thanks to the content you’ve freely given. Barbell Business has been another awesome resource for those of us who are also entrepreneurs. I can’t wait to see what you have are gonna do next!

  • NOOO! I feel like I just started listening to you guys. Gotta listen through all the old episodes until you get your new gig off the ground.

  • I want to thank you guys for your show. You’re part of my Sat morning education and coffee ritual. You crush it with info and are plain fun to watch. Looking forward to the next evolution.

  • I am an old man (57) pushing weight for the last three years and I found you guys early. Your show has been an inspiration for me along the way. I look forward to the next few hundred episodes as I continue to knock the rust off of the machine. Keep up the good work and congrats!

    • Sam, the show is as designed. If you look in between the lines a bit, you’ll see that we’re up to something. Chris ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Hi Guys, I can’t seem to play the video – can’t get past the intro. Anyone else having the same problem? :/

  • Are you guys gonna happen to be covering the worlds toughest mudder World Championship in Vegas this month? Congrats on 200! We, and I mean our entire family, never miss it.

  • Hey guys,
Lovin the show, but this wait for a new episode is killing me! When can we expect new content?
    Cheers from Canada,
    Matt.

  • So relieved to hear that there is more awesome Barbell Shrugged content coming in the near future. Not having the podcast over the past couple of months has been like the loss of a loved one!
Even checked yesterday to see if a new episode was the best Christmas present of all.
Waiting for the new launch with baited breath!
