Over the course of 4 years, the Barbell Shrugged team created and shared 199 podcast episodes, not including the hundreds of videos and articles published on lifting technique, nutrition, mobility and recovery, goal setting, mindset, you name it.
It’s amazing to see how much ground we’ve covered, and how much can change in that time. But more importantly, I think it’s important to acknowledge what hasn’t changed. Or more to the point, who has always remained.
On the very first episode Barbell Shrugged, we talked with Alex Maclin right at the start of his Weightlifting journey. In the years that followed, we continued to feature Alex in videos, as a remarkable Coach and Teacher. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s been patient and kind enough to use his skills and mind to, “Make shit happen!” behind the scenes of Barbell Shrugged the business for years now.
Alex, you’re a big reason why we have the oppurtunity to reach and teach so many. It’s my honor to welcome you to the show now as a proper co-host.
I can think of no one more deserving.
Cheers friend,
Chris
